Dr. Abukamleh diagnoses lung diseases after discussing your symptoms and medical history, checking your vital signs, and completing a physical exam. He listens to your breathing and completes lung function tests to evaluate breathing efficiency. You might need blood testing, chest X-rays, or other imaging procedures.

How are lung diseases treated?

Treating a lung disease depends on the type you have and its severity. Dr. Abukamleh might suggest making lifestyle changes, taking medications, using an inhaler, or taking advantage of oxygen therapy, home ventilation therapy, or pulmonary rehabilitation.
